117-07 Scott 219//291, nice all-different mint group, CV $5,392+
Nice group of 30 banknotes, Scott 219//291, all different mint selection of better stamps, generally FVF or better OG (one stamp NG, an inexpensive Scott 219.)  Includes Scott 219, 220 (NH), 222 (NH), 225, 228 (NH, 4 margins), 231, 232 (jumbo), 234, 235 (NH), 236 (PFC), 237 (NH), 246 (NH), 248 (NH), 250, 254, 255, 256 (PFC), 260, 267 (NH), 267 var (dot in “S”, bottom margin strip of 3, NH), 269, 272, 273, 275, 279, 279 imprint & plate # strip of 3, NH), 297B, 279Bg, 281 (NH), 286 (NH), 288 (NH, Weiss cert,) 289, 290, 291.  Scott catalog value $5,391.50++.  A handful of very minimal faults noted, but mostly sound with many very nice stamps (all of the certified stamps have clean certs.)  Very high original purchase price, a very nice lot, and an excellent opportunity to build stock or upgrade some of those early mint items in your collection.

117-08 Early 20th Century mint investment lot, CV $6,261+++
Excellent all-different group of approximately 70 mint US stamps, all between 1901/1920 (Scott 295//548).  This was an investment group and is very nice with only better items present.  Most still on the original dealer cards (and purchased at very high % of SCV.)  Starts with Scott 295 (plate # single) and includes better like 311,319i (sound MNH w/ PSE cert), 324 (NH), 328-330 (NH), 340, 341, 357, 375a booklet, 392 line pair (NH), 400 (NH), 400A, 405b (NH), 416 (NH), 430 (NH), 447 pair, 452 line pair, 492 line pair (NH), 500 (NH), 532 pair (NH), 545 (NH).  Also included is a MNH “386” pair, which was purchased for a large amount but I believe is fake (not counted in the catalog value.)  While I spotted a tiny problem here or there, the group is overwhelmingly VF with some (much) better, including a lot of lower value items in choice condition (and not even mentioned in the highlights above.)  Fabulous lot for the US collector or dealer, as everything here could be an individual lot (or upgrade possibility for your collection.)  Scott catalog value $6,261.35++, extremely high retail potential (original purchase price probably >$4,000)
SOLD
